Jeep Week 2012

First and foremost...., I FINALLY have my pictures back on my computer!!!  It's been a long time coming., but now I can get back to blogging on a regular basis!!!  Yeah!!!

Jeep week was fun as always.  Much more relaxing for me this year than last year.  I hate to admit it.., but I really wasn't that excited for Jeep week this year.  :( Sad.., I know!  Who doesn't get excited about a weekend with out kiddos???  A day or two into this years trip, it hit me that last year, I had left my kiddos with non family for the weekend..., and they were SICK to boot.  It wasn't a great time for me then.  I was worried the entire time about them..., if they were too much to handle.., feeling OK..., missing me.., sleeping at night..., eating ok..., and the list went on.  So.., I was pleasantly surprised by the fun and relaxation that happened!  I even read a whole book., weird for me!  I didn't worry about my kiddos at all.  They stayed with Aunt Ruth and their cousins Courtney and Ramsey this year and had a blast!  The sounded so happy on the phone and had tons to tell me each night when I spoke to them.  In fact.., they keep asking me now for another sleepover there.
We ran a night trail for the first time this year.  It was so cool.  It was a full moon and SO bright out.   Apparently Easter rotates according to the moon.., a little fact I picked up from our trail guide.  Anyway.., once your eyes got adjusted all the jeeps shut off their lights and covered their dashboards lights.  I was a bit nervous, but it was a trail we've done several times and so Dan was fairly familiar with it.  This is the ONLY picture of the night trail..,. and my husband is showing off his butt in it???
Dan referred to us as a Superchips whore on the trip..., but it won him $500.  Yep.., you read right.., my hubby was the grand prize winner in a Superchips contest and all he had to do was throw on this ugly super chips sticker for the weekend.  I'd say it was worth it.  He can now get the new tail gate for the Jeep he's been wanting.

A few of the Bishops Jeep taking on some adventures.

 It was gorgeous!
I'm not sure what Scott is doing here..., but it makes me chuckle to look at!
All and all..., it was a FABULOUS few days!  Can't wait for next year!
