Bathtime

Bath time at our house means we are one step closer to bed time...., and that makes for a happy momma! Perhaps I'm a horrible mom for saying that.., but the time from when my kids are asleep (7pm) til my bed time, make me a much better mom. Seriously..., do you love his lashes??? They are incredible. I hope Maya has at least half of his lashes!

The Addtion Continues

We have loved having my dad and Uncle Bob visiting. They have helped to get us one step closer to having a finished addition!Mason has loved hanging out with the guys. After helping all day, his little hands come in like this. Needless to say..., every night is bath night these days.

You need to pick your battles...,

As I was finishing feeding Maya this morning, it hit me how quite Mason had been. My mind raced at everything he could possibly be into. I put Maya down in her cradle and walked into the kitchen to find Mason and his mess. He had pulled out every thing from each draw he could reach and was climbing into each. I'm sure he would have made it to the counter tops if I hadn't caught him. I love the expression on his little face. He was SO happy and proud of him self at what he had down.
Messes or no messes.., I sure do love this little guy!

Morning Cartoons

Isn't this how most of you watch your morning cartoons???

I just wish I could get to the kid fast enough these days to get him dressed. No such luck., and with adding O baby #2, I've become even more slow.

So..., for the time being..., this is how we watch morning cartoons in our home.., well.., at least how Mason does.

Mason and Maya

We've been home for 3 days now and apparently Dan is done with the blogging and I need to get back in the swing of things. So here we go.
We have loved adding this little girl, Maya, to our family. She is so precious and has such a sweet spirit about her. We can already feel she will be a very laid back, relaxed child..,which after our little whirl wind named Mason, will be a nice change.
Mason is getting used to his little sister and doesn't cry when his mom is holding her anymore. That's progress I think! He was on the bed the other night watching TV, when I walked in to find him with his head her boppy chair. I'm sure it was just more comfortable for him.., but a mom can think that it was him trying to bond with his sister.
Mason has also enjoyed the new toys that have made their way down from the attic for Maya to use. He really wasn't that big for a fan of the bouncing chair when he was a little one...., but now.., it's his new favorite lounge chair.
