Thanks!

I just want to give a big THANKS to all my cute friends, family and neighbors who helped make my birthday special. It was a hard one this year and all your thoughtfulness meant more than you know. As many of you know I was born on my Mom's birthday, June 2nd. I grew up thinking my birthday was the best day of the year. I got to stay home from school each year. My mom and I would make each other cakes, go to lunch and then get our hair cut. In the evening, my dad would plan huge BBQ's with family and friends at the beach or at our home. He also would get my mom and I matching shirts to wear.., I loved this when I was little..., it seemed to lose it's charm a bit as I got older. It was the best day and I always ended it feeling like a princess. Even as an adult, I would always make sure I was home in New Hampshire with my mom to celebrate our 'special' day together. Though some of the details of the day changed, it was always huge event. The only birthday I missed with her was when I was on my mission. With my mom not with me these days, birthday's have changed quite a bit. This year was a hard day for me and through the thoughtfulness of family and friends, it was much easier. My husband is also incredible, patience and understanding. Did I mention he got me diamond earrings? I feel so overwhelmed by the love, care and friendship I felt yesterday. I appreciate all the cards, textes, emails, phone calls, etc. It all meant so much. THANK YOU! My life truly would not be complete with out my good friends and family.

Happy day a day late. I had Addie on my birthday and I have often wondered if she is going to hate me later because I did that and couldn't wait another day to have her. Right now she loves sharing it with me and we have fun. I am glad to hear that you had such a great time sharing it with your mom. What a fun dad you have too to do fun BBQ's and the matching shirts! You are an amazing woman and I have always thought that of you. I am SO SO SO SO glad that we have kept in contact, even if it's just been a little here and a little there. Your a cute mommy and Mason is the cutest little boy ever! One day I am going to have to meet Dan and Mason...and let them know how lucky they are to have you! P.S. keep at your garden, things may turn around, sometimes they go through a shock period after going outside and then they do really well...Good luck!

Hi there lady, I'm giving you a late happy birthday shout out! Those sure were some fun traditions you had with your mom. Birthdays were definitely a big deal at your home, I remember you telling me those before. How cool to take the school day off too,,, well I suppose it was close to the end of school there right? You got some great things from your boys too. I'm gonna miss our lunches too.
