After last summer's horrible tomato crop, I was thrilled to have such a GREAT crop of tomatoes this year.  I canned tomatoes, spaghetti sauce and pizza sauce with them.  And.., we gave tons away after I got sick of canning.  I love how pretty the jars are once they are all filled and processed.

 I did pizza sauce because my kiddos have grown to love making their own pizzas...., this one has peppers and onions from our garden as well and was SO yummy!

 We try and have make your own pizza night at our place at least once a month.  Unfortunately.., my kiddos typically eat more cheese and toppings then they get on their pizzas.

the Pumpkin Patch

October is a big month for our family.  We LOVE Halloween and everything around it.  The weekend before I had surgery we headed out to the pumpkin patch so the kiddos could pick out their pumpkins.  Oh how I LOVE this farm.  We went there last year and the kids had a blast.

 Mason was adamant that he wanted  a white pumpkin this year.

I started this boot camp with a friend a few months ago to help me get back in shape.  A week or two into the six week class, I hurt my knee jumping.  Yep.., just jumping.  Nothing exciting.  Being fairly sure I had torn some cartilage, since I have done that a few times, I went into to see the Otho doc.   Sad news..., not only did I tear some cartilage.., but also my ACL was shot.  Since my out of pocket was met already for the year.., we hurried and scheduled it to allow for as much time as possible for physical therapy before the end of the year and insurance stuff starts over.  So...., Here I sit..., just over a week into this 6 month process.  Thankfully I should be totally off crutches in 3 weeks.  Keep your fingers crossed!

6 YEARS & COUNTING

Oh how I LOVE this man!

I've waited for this day to come!

Oh how I longed for this day to come...,Fall is in the air.., the weather is crisp and clean.., and I'm sitting on the sidelines watching my kiddo play soccer or 'bunch call' as Dan calls it. 

 I'm not quite sure if Mason is any good or not, but he LOVES playing with his buddies.., and I LOVE watching him!

 The coach told the kids that they needed to stay an arms distance from the other players..., this is Mason taking it literal!

Only a few more weeks of games...., sad.  I'll have to find some thing else to fill my time till spring soccer starts.

First Day of School

 Mason was a bit sad to not start school with Maya.  Having his tonsils out threw him for a bit more of  loop then we anticipated.  So.., Maya started preschool at Scotts Preschool with out her big brother.

 She was so excited she could barely stand still for pictures.

This doesn't happen very often!

Do you think they are tired???   I had just got them into to PJ's.  They were watching some cartoons before bed and I went to load the dishwasher.  I came back to find this.  So stinking cute!
